Gifts to the Press support high-quality publications of enduring value. When you invest in the Press’s publishing program, you are helping to create a lasting legacy of knowledge and ideas for future generations.

As a non-profit educational publisher, the Press publishes important, specialized works that cannot recover their costs through sales alone. Gifts and grants are needed to support the publication of scholarly titles to make them affordable for students and scholars. The Press also seeks support for individual books that require special editorial, production, or marketing costs. Gifts of $2,500-$25,000 may be designated to support such publications. Donors are recognized in the books’ opening pages

A $1,000,000 endowed gift will name this position and provide support for the director’s needs, including but not limited to salary, equipment, and travel.

The Press offers student internships in its Acquisitions, Editorial, Design, Production, and Marketing departments. These positions allow students to learn about both scholarly and trade book publishing and gain valuable on-the-job experience. Numerous Press interns have gone on to secure jobs at top publishing houses and with magazine publishers.

An annual gift of $10,000 - $15,000 will support a named internship.
